As a wedding photographer, I’m always inspired by Upton Barn’s beautiful variety of backdrops. From the colourful blooms of the Walled Garden, where Jen and Patrick exchanged vows under the handcrafted oak arbour, to the warm tones of the Cider Barn, everything about this venue photographs effortlessly.
Wedding Photography at Upton Barn
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed drinks at the modern and cosy Press Bar, surrounded by the venue’s manicured gardens and rolling countryside views. The light inside the Cider Barn, with its exposed beams and floor-to-ceiling windows, was a dream for natural, storytelling photography.
Golden hour portraits with Jen and Patrick in the surrounding fields were one of my favourite moments—soft golden light, genuine connection, and that unmistakable Devon landscape made for a perfect end to the day.
